There is a not-so-flattering photo of Chayanne’s wife Marilisa and Chayanne enjoying a weekend of sun in Miami, Florida. The page includes an area where you can comment about Chayanne’s privacy and how mean-spirited a comparison of the two is, if you choose.
Chayanne Wishes a Happy Mother’s Day
Chayanne has posted a Mother’s Day card and the following on his Twitter and Facebook accounts:
“Ustedes madres son el motor de la existencia humana. Mis respetos y todo mi cariño.”
(“You are the engine of human existence. My respect and my affection.”)
Media reports are saying that Chayanne was injured during his performance at the show “Puebla, Mexico Pride,” which took place last Saturday night to commemorate 150 years of battle of Puebla.
A spokesperson at Chayanne’s office declined that Chayanne had hurt his ankle during the concert. The spokesperson said the floor of the stage was wet and Chayanne slipped; he then remained cautious not to fall.
On his Twitter account, Chayanne thanked fans for their concern and said that nothing happened in Puebla, but since it had rained the floor was too slippery.
You can see Chayanne slip at the 55 second mark of this video.

Chayanne reacted to the robbery of his parents who were victims in Gurabo and urged criminals to respect the privacy of citizens.
“Yesterday I received a call about the robbery at my parents’ house and, although this news bothered me much, the important thing was knowing that they were fine. I did not want to comment anything about it, but I think it is a good opportunity to make a call of conscience to all who think they have the right to violate the privacy of individuals, it is not right: I invite you to respect, tolerate, care but above all, to be examples for our children. Instead of doing wrong, we will grow well for tomorrow, ourselves or those who follow us, to get good results,” said Chayanne to El Nuevo Dia, via a press release.
Police reported an escalation in the home of singer Chayanne in Gurabo, but then the artist said it was in the residence of his parents.
According to the police report the residence is located in the urbanization Santa Barbara Valley Road #181 of that municipality.
“Someone broke the rear door of the residence, making access to the interior, appropriating a monitor recorder, security camera and a safe. This residence is owned by the singer Chayanne,” reads the document from the police.

Chayanne has never been approached to join “Pequeños Gigantes,” according to his manager.
“I’ve never discussed it with anybody,” Chayanne’s manager Patty Vega said in El Vocero, denying information from various media.
“It’s not true,” she added. “For now we are happy and working hard in the next production,” said Vega.
