Chayanne's Birthday
Chay worked as every day, but his companions prepared a surprise for him after shooting some scenes.
They took a cake with horse figures on it and gave him a leather garment. In the evening, when he was arriving home, he talked with some reporters that were waiting for him and said
that he was happy cause Lorenzo had woken him up that morning and cause he was with his family, and it
is not always like that, as he is always travelling. He confirmed that on July he is going to New York and
Los Angeles and said he will study an offer for a new movie. They have started the new album
pre-production. He said he would spend his birthday at home with his family and some friends. Later,
Araceli Gonzalez (with her husband) and Federico D´Elia (with his wife) arrived, but didn´t talk with the
press.

Provócame Launch
Yesterday was the novela´s launching party in Buenos Aires News. First, Gustavo Yankelevich, one of the
producers said some words. Then they showed some images of the novela. Chay was wearing a black suit
and shirt, Araceli a red sexy dress and Romina black pants and shirt. The three of them appeared on stage
and photographers took lots of pictures. On both sides of the stage were pictures of them together. All the
actors that take part in the story were there. I saw a little interview to Chay, Romina and Araceli on Cronica
Tv. They talked about the love triangle between Pedro (Chay), Ana Laura (Araceli) and Marisol
(Romina).
They said they are very happy and excited with this project. Chay said that he loves Argentina and he is
very confortable here, cause he can still move everywhere to go on with his singer´s career. The girls said he
is exactly the same way you see him, so nice and sweet. They asked Chayanne how Araceli kisses, and
he said ¨very good. But I don´t know, Pedro Balmaceda knows¨ and he laughed.

Chayanne Will Sing the Spanish Version of the Main Theme of "Atlantis - The
Lost Empire," the Walt Disney Pictures Studios Newest Production
Buenos Aires, MAY 3rd 2001-- Chayanne, the talented uertorican singer and actor, will sing
"Donde Va Tu Sueño", the Spanish version of "Where The Dream Takes You",
the main theme of the most recent cinemathographic animated production of Walt Disney Pictures
Studios "Atlantis - The Lost Empire", which tells the story of an exciting and imaginative trip in search of the lost
city of Atlantis, a fascinating and mysterious place immersed in the depths of the ocean for
thousand years.
The movie will be released in all Latin America during the months of June-July.
The richness of the music was contributed to the movie by famous composer James Newton
Howard, who set the music for over 65 films and got five nominations for the Academy Awards.
The song was written by James Newton Howard and Diane Warren, with Spanish lyrics by
Renato López, Walterio Pesqueira, Manny Benito and Chayanne.
The theme has been recorded in Buenos Aires city, where the music video for the song "El
Lugar que Sueñas" will be shot in 35 mm and its post-production will take place in Los
Angeles. This spectacular video will be annex to the movie and also shown in cinemas and all
television channels for a better spreading and promotion in all Latin America.
Chayanne who is temporarily settled in Argentina, working in the shooting of a soap opera of
national production, was very pleased and accepted in an instant his commitment to record the
Spanish version of the song, because in addition to being an important project, according to his own
words he is, "a fervent admirer and collector of all Disney movies, in order to satisfy the child's
soul we all carry inside."

Chayanne Fans for Nancy Benefit Auction a Big Success
The bids are in, the tallies have been counted and fans of Latin
superstar Chayanne can "pat themselves on the back." The bidding totaled $6,282 toward the mounting medical bills of 10-month old Nancy Ramos
Esquivel. She is a Mexican baby who recently received a liver transplant (donated by the family of a boy who lost his life) and is currently clinging
to life in Miami, FL.
Chayanne Fans For Nancy Benefit Auction was held March 14 - 22, on the
Internet. This charity event on eBay offered 211 Chayanne collectable items; magazines, CDs, videos and T-shirts, donated by fans from around the globe
to be auctioned off.
The most coveted item of all was a personal phone call from
Chayanne, 32, the singer/dancer/actor who is making such a gigantic splash on the
world's entertainment scene today. Two fans bid the highest (almost to the penny), an amazing $1,320, so Chayanne has graciously agreed to take time
out from his busy schedule to make two fan-calls.
Patricia, the first winner said, "I can't believe it...I hope I am able
to speak when I hear his voice on the other end of the phone...Dreams do come true!"
The auction was created when the handsome Puerto Rican star asked his
fans to actively help raise the $200,000 necessary for the transplant surgery after meeting her mother and seeing the baby in Jackson Memorial Hospital
where his son was briefly hospitalized.
Chayanne first told the public about Nancy while accepting a special
"Jovenes con Legado" ("Youthful Legacy") award during the Premios Lo Nuestro
("Our Awards") show recently in Miami, sponsored by Univision (a popular Spanish TV network). The large 4,600-strong crowd roared to its collective
feet to welcome him after viewing a filmed documentary about his life, career and the positive role model he presents to the world. Instead of
concentrating on himself in his speech, Chayanne modestly dedicated his award to baby Nancy.
Presently Chayanne is riding a great wave of popularity, not only for
his recent appearance on the TV hit Ally McBeal, but because his latest hit single Yo Te Amo and album Simplemente (Sony Discos) have been on the top of
the Latin pop billboard charts for the past five months. He is currently in Buenos Aires preparing to start filming on a new telenovela (prime time
series/soap opera) there titled "Blood Ties,"(the tittle to the soap opera is not confirmed yet) to be shown in at least 25 countries including the US.
After his pleas for help went out, fans from the three major Internet
fan clubs who support him, Cafe Chayanne,
Chayfans, and La Isla
Chayanne, banded together in a cooperative effort to help kick off a fundraising
campaign with the charity auction, calling themselves the Chayanne Fans For Nancy Committee.
"I have the greatest fans in the world," he said recently on the Netmio
Music channel." "They have united to help this great cause and I want to thank them personally for all their support."

Chayanne is helping in a the campaign "12 meses, 12 causas" (12 months, 12 causes) organized by Tele

New Video - "Vivo"
They showed his new video "Vivo" last weekend in Spain. It's the
Spanglish version and he looks as great and handsome as ever. He wears brown leather pants with three different things: a long sleeve brown t-shirt, a
brown leather jacket with woollen and a black shirt. He dances with the two female dancers (the ones that are
with him now) on his sides, and with another girl. It seems like they are in a party in a night club, and the
place is crowed. There are flashes with his image singing and dancing! We can´t wait to see it!

Dream Phone Call from Chayanne will go to Lucky Bidder
When the auction is over and the bids are all in, some very lucky fan will be
getting a phone call most fans only dream about. It will come from one of the brightest stars in the entertainment universe...Latin heart throb
Chayanne.
Chayanne will donate the "fan call" to a benefit Internet auction that he really cares about, the Chayanne Fans For Nancy charity auction on
eBay. The call will go to the highest bidder during the auction to benefit Nancy Ramos
Esquivel which now through Sunday, March 21st (extended to this date due to overwhelming response). She is a 10 month old baby girl who desperately
needs a liver transplant at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Included in the auction will also be more than 200 Chayanne collectible items sent in

The exciting auction is being sponsored and coordinated by a committee, Chayanne Fans For Nancy, made up from three major fan clubs who support the
career of the Puerto Rican entertainer on the Internet, Cafe Chayanne, Chayfans.org and La Isla

Chayanne discovered the Mexican girl when his own child, three year old Lorenzo, was hospitalized briefly with the flu. This caring, sympathetic
superstar was so moved by her condition and the fact that her mother is very poor and cannot afford the
whopping big $200,000 surgery bill, that he publicly asked his millions of fans around the world to help. As a result,
the auction was born to kick off a fund raising campaign.
In addition to his recent appearances on two episodes of Fox's TV hit Ally
McBeal, and his 1998 US film debut in Dance With Me starring opposite Vanessa L. Williams, Chayanne's colorful career spans some 21 years. He has sold over
5 million albums worldwide, and earned at least 20 platinum records and more than 50 gold. This past year, he won the Ritmo Latino Artist Of The Year
Award and also for Best Video for his song Atado A Tu Amor. He was just recently nominated for the 2001 Billboard Latin Music Awards Hot Latin
Tracks, for The Best Pop Album - "Simplemente" (his latest), and for Pop
Track Of The Year. In addition, he has been nominated for Best Latin Artist
in the prestigious Premios Gardel Awards in Argentina to be announced on April 18th.
Among the many items to be auctioned off will be autographed tour books, photographs, rare magazines, articles and clippings, concert T-shirts,
albums, videos (including Linda Sara, the first film he made), and possibly a nice contribution from the Miami Marlin's baseball team.

Press Release

DATE: March 9, 2001
TITLE: " Fans Of Chayanne To Sponsor Online Auction To Benefit ill Baby "
There will be a benefit auction on the Internet March 14-18th for a 10 month old baby girl named Nancy who desperately needs a liver transplant.

When Puerto Rican superstar Chayanne climbed up on the stage accompanied by a standing ovation recently, to receive a special Jovenes con Legado Award
(Youthful Legacy) during Univisions's Premios Lo Nuestro (Our Awards) shows in Miami, FL, he modestly thanked his fans, his island, God, his family and
Sony Discos. Then he very humbly dedicated his award (for being a positive role model) to a precious baby girl from Mexico who is in need of a liver
transplant. He asked the packed audience and his fans everywhere to help with donations so she can have the life-giving surgery of a transplant from her
mother.
He also repeated his plea on several Latin TV talk shows, like Despierta America (Wake Up America) and wherever he was making a promotional

As a result, fans from the three major Internet fan clubs who support him have banded together in an unprecedented cooperative effort to raise money
for baby Nancy Ramos Esquivel, spearheaded by this Internet charity auction. In so doing, they hope to raise awareness of the plight of the little girl
and amass as much funding as possible. They are also demonstrating their dedication and support of Latin entertainer Chayanne and the high moral
character he represents.
Chayanne is adored by millions of fans around the world as the 32 year old heart throb who recently danced in the courtroom when he appeared in two
episodes of Fox's Emmy show Ally McBeal, and danced his way around a salsa club with Vanessa L. Williams in the 1998 Columbia film release of Dance
With Me. He discovered baby Nancy when his three year old son Lorenzo was hospitalized briefly in Miami with the flu. After Nancy's mother approached
him, he visited the baby and was so taken with her plight he vowed to use his celebrity recognition to help.
Nancy's transplant surgery is scheduled for the next few weeks, so the Chayanne Fans For Nancy Committee are asking everyone to take part in their
Chayanne collectibles auction from Wednesday, March 14 through Sunday, March 18 on
eBay. Items like Chayanne videos, films of TV appearances, magazines,

Chayanne in Spain
CHAYANNE'S visit to Spain can't be more explosive and more commented. This
time his stay can be resumed as follows, he was the star of the Carnaval in Tenerife, considered the most important event in Spain in which people from

opening of one of the new studios with the name of the artist "CHAYANNE".
The Miss Spain pageant in which by tradition in this country is extended to
two days the election and crowning of the queen, asked Chayanne to perform both nights of the Gala becoming a success. Chayanne sang for two
consecutive nights in the Gala of Miss Spain and as it is always expected the rating was exceptional with six million of audience and a 38% of the
quote of share screen during his hysterical performance.
A popular DJ of the Cadena Dial commented during the artist stay
"Chayanne is special, everything that surrounds him is, he has gained the respect and
the admiration of all the Spaniards and we love him". Together with Argentina and Mexico, Spain has been consolidated as one of the stronger
markets, with a massive and faithful audience, in which record sales are maintained in first place in the charts.

Chayanne Fans for Nancy Announcement
Dear Chayfamily:
For the last several weeks, at the behest of our Chayanne, we have all been doing our heartfelt
best to help little Nancy Ramos Esquivel. Everyone has been wonderfully generous with their
donations and their prayers.
However, there's good news and bad news!! Let's get the bad news out of the way…we're a long
way from getting the money this baby need for the surgery.
Now for the good news….no, the GREAT NEWS!!! As we all know, there is strength in numbers and
the number of Chayanne's fans is growing by leaps and bounds!!! Together we can accomplish great
things. To that end, Café Chayanne, Chayfans and La Isla websites are coming together to sponsor
an auction to benefit little Nancy. This auction has the blessing of Chayanne's office. In fact, they
are donating items for us to auction.
We need your help as well. Many of us have great Chayanne memorabilia…T-shirts, magazines,
pictures, etc. I just know that all of us can give up at least one item, if not more, to help in this
cause. This goes beyond Chayanne's request now….let's just say that Nancy is our "web baby" and
we want to do everything we can to give her a chance at life.
This auction will be on Ebay and we will announce the date and the items available in the near
future.
There will be daily updates and words of encouragement. We know that we can count on all of you
for several reasons: 1 - you love Chayanne; 2 - you have deeply caring hearts; 3 - you want to
help this sweet child; and 4 - you want to get as much Chay-stuff as possible!!! And believe me,
there will be FABULOUS items up for auction!
Stay tuned, Chayfamily. The best is yet to come. The next announcements will tell you where to
send items for the auction and when the auction will be held.

Special Request from Chayanne
Dear All,
You once asked me if Chayanne was with an organization of if there was any way you could help? Well this is the time to give us a helping hand.
I'll tell you a little bit of the story:
Chayanne's son Lorenzo was recently hospitalized due to a flu, while in
the hospital he was approached by a suffering mother, who's 10 month old daughter is awaiting to receive a liver transplant.
This is a woman from Mexico, they are a very poor family, her 10 month old daughter needed a liver transplant so she went to a TV station in Mexico,
> this was broadcasted, and a lady from Miami saw the show and made contact with her. To make this story short, this lady made it possible for this
mother to come to Miami with her daughter, who is presently being treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Chayanne met this mother and saw the little
girl he was truly touched and decided to support this cause. The mother can be
a donor for her daughter but she needs $200,000.00 to pay for the cost of the surgery, therefore Chayanne would like for all of you to help him support
this cause the same way you support his career. Please lets all help this little girl and support Chayanne all the way
with this beautiful cause. Let's do it now since this little girl does not have much time, this needs to be done ASAP. Please contribute with all you
can.
The information is as follows:
You can send a check or money order:
Jackson Memorial Foundation
C/o Nancy Ramos Esquivel
901 N.W. 17 Street / Suite G

Also you can donate by credit cards VISA, MASTERCARD & AMEX calling (305)585-7260.

Premios Lo Nuestro
Chayanne received his recognition (Youthful Legacy) at Premios Lo Nuestro. Cristina
(the talk show host) made the presentation. They showed a video montage of Chayanne's career from his beginnings in Los Chicos to his 'Ally McBeal' appearances.
It was done very nicely and throughout it all, Chayanne's dedication to his fans,
career and being a positive role model were emphasized. When he went up to receive
the award he got a standing ovation from the crowd! It was great. He spoke very nicely, stating that he thanked his fans, his island, God, his family and record label. He
dedicated the award to the little girl that needs the transplant and asked that his fans
help the little girl so that she gets the transplant. He was up for for an award for
Atado A Tu Amor as song of the year, but didn´t get it. But for us, he is always a
winner, cause he has a huge heart.

Soap Opera in Argentina
Chayanne finally confirmed that he will make a soap opera in Argentina. He will stay in the country for 5 months. The actresses that
were picked to be his partners are Araceli González and Nancy Duplaá. He'll be
starring as Pedro Balmaceda, a horse trainer from Puerto Rico that moves to Argentina (with his horse, of course). Naturally he ends
up in a love triangle. One woman will be the passion, and the other one the love. He said that he is very excited and happy to be able
to do some acting in Spanish, cause the last things he did as an actor were in English (The movie
"Dance with me", with Vanessa Williams and 2 episodes of "Ally Mc Beal").

Chayanne in Argentina
He arrived from Santiago de Chile, on Wednesday 24th, at 7.40 pm. There was a big storm in Buenos Aires at that
time, so it took
him some time to get to the Sheraton hotel. He went out for dinner, to a restaurant calls
"Asia" and he ate sushi and drank water. He
said that will probably start his tour on November and the countries he wants to visit first are Argentina, USA and Spain.
On Thursday 25th he had rehearsals. On Friday 26th, Chayanne gave interviews to radios, tv programs and magazines. First he was
in Cadena 100 in a radio interview, but they made it from the hotel he was staying. Two girls could meet him. He confirmed the
novela in the country, and he said that he is very happy of living here for 5 months. He said that there are plans for a new album, but
in a year or year and a half, cause Simplemente is very recent, and he is having many satisfactions with it. Then he went lunch with
5 winners of a contest organized by FM Hit radio. He said that he still hasn´t met Araceli González and Nancy Duplaá in person,
but he trusts the people that picked them.
On Saturday 27th, he shooted his performance in "La Movida", that will be aired on
February 3. On Sunday 28th, he was in "Versus". He was wearing brown leather pants and a blue t-shirt. He started singing Boom
Boom. The two male dancers are new ones. He talked a little about Isadora, saying that she is beautiful, but very small yet. Then he
sang Yo te amo, and they showed him a video with images of San Lorenzo, his brother, friends, dance teacher, talking about him,
some pictures, singing with Los Chicos. He was very happy, and he ended singing Ay mama. He said that he is more than excited
to expend 5 months in Argentina, and that he will meet Araceli and the rest of the group when he comes in April. He said he is now
starting a promotion tour round Europe till that time. He left the country at 11 pm.

On Monday 22nd, Chayanne appeared in a chilean tv show, he was interviewed and he sang a little bit of Tiempo
de Vals with the audience. He talked about his appereance in Ally McBeall, how was recording with Jennifer Lopez,
about his just born daughter and some other topics. He also sang Boom Boom, then a little bit of songs like

The most important part of the night came when he was awarded with a gorgeous Seagul made of GOLD. He was
