It has been a big week for Chayanne. Not only did he perform and win at Premio Lo Nuestro awards, but he also announced tour dates in the U.S. and Canada.
Chayanne sang “Tiempo De Vals” and also sang his new hit “Bailando Bachata” for the first time on television. You can see him sing “Bailando Bachata” below.
Chayanne will be appearing at Premio Lo Nuestro tonight. He will be performing “Bailando Bachata.” The event will be at the Kaseya Center in Miami and will air at 7p/6c on Univision.
Premio Lo Nuestro has posted some photos from rehearsals of “Bailando Bachata,” and Chayanne is also interviewed in the clip below.
Chayanne will give his first television performance of “Bailando Bachata” at this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro on February 22, 2024. Chayanne is also vying for Song of the Year in both Pop and Tropical categories.
The event will be at the Kaseya Center in Miami and will air at 7p/6c on Univision. Tickets for the show are still available for purchase through ticketmaster.com.
Chayanne has been nominated for three awards at the Premios Oye! 2013.

The Senate has approved a bill to formalize the permanent name of road PR-203, connecting State Highway PR-30 with PR-183 in the municipality of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, as Elmer Figueroa Arce “Chayanne.” The road is currently known as the Express “Chayanne” by residents and visitors to the area, as indicated in the preamble to the measure. The measure directs the Commission Naming Structures and Public Highways of the Government of Puerto Rico to take steps to comply with the provisions of this Act.
The bills states:
“La trayectoria personal y profesional de “Chayanne” ejemplifica los valores que más preciamos como pueblo, entre los que distinguimos el respeto por el prójimo, el amor a la vida y la tierra en que nacimos y la civilidad entre unos y otros, con la cual creamos un mejor futuro para las próximas generaciones. Elmer también ha tenido en su vida la faceta de hombre de familia, casado con la Sra. Marilisa Maronese, con quien ha procreado dos hijos, de nombre Lorenzo Valentino e Isadora Sofía, quienes son los verdaderos tesoros de la vida de este insigne artista”, agrega.
“Esta Asamblea Legislativa, entiende meritorio hacer un reconocimiento y destacar como ejemplo a la persona y el artista, por los logros que ha protagonizado “Chayanne” en su prolífera trayectoria profesional y el buen nombre que ha contribuido a prodigarle a Puerto Rico en el mundo. Esta pieza legislativa pretende oficializar con carácter permanente el nombre de Elmer Figueroa Arce “Chayanne” para la PR-203, ya otorgado por la ciudadanía y de este modo, honrar y exaltar en vida el legado que a su corta edad ha logrado con talento, disciplina y trabajo para su familia, San Lorenzo y todos los puertorriqueños”, sostiene.
Chayanne achieved gold record status for more than 30,000 copies sold in Mexico from his latest album A Solas Con Chayanne (Paid Ad), which was recorded at the National Auditorium during his recent tour, No Hay Imposible.
No Hay Imposible is considered the best and longest running tour for Chayanne, and one of the most important in Latin America, USA and Spain in 2011 and for which he won the Billboard Award for Latin Music in the category Best Live Show.

Chayanne arrived on a private plane in Mazatlan yesterday to attend the tenth installment of Premios Oye! which will be honoring his 30-year career.
Hotel staff said Chayanne was friendly to tourists and locals who came to greet him, but the security person accompanying him did not allow anyone to approach him or take photographs. In addition to his personal bodyguard, Chayanne also has a hotel security guard.
The hosting center employees reported that Chayanne arrived at the hotel with golf clubs and for a while was sunbathing by the pool, where few people recognized him because he had a cap.
Chayanne will not be at the Premios Oye on February 9 as previously reported. The event coordinator and representative of Ocesa, Urbano Delgado, said yesterday that they did not reach an agreement with Chayanne.
