Latin Superstars Marco Antonio Solis, Chayanne & Alejandro Fernandez Take the Stage at the 2008 Billboard Latin Music Awards

There is no doubt that Chayanne is one of the biggest Latin music artists in the world. With a career that spans over 20 years, the Puerto Rican superstar is set to fire up the Billboard Latin Music Awards stage with all the energy and charisma that has well characterized his performances. His worldwide tour in support of his 20th album “Mi Tiempo” has been a great success. An example of this was his recent presentation at the Festival Internacional de la Cancion de Viña del Mar in Chile, where he was honored with the Silver Seagull, the festival’s single most important award. “Mi Tiempo,” which has topped the Billboard Latin music charts, includes the smash hits “Si Nos Quedara Poco Tiempo” and “Lola”. Indeed he will shake up the stage with a spectacular performance, full of surprises, energy and his infectious rhythm. Chayanne is up for one Billboard Latin Music Award: Latin Pop Airplay Song of the Year, Male for “Si Nos Quedara Poco Tiempo.”

Con más de 20 años de carrera, el astro puertorriqueño llegará al escenario de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina con toda la energía que caracteriza sus presentaciones. Su más reciente gira mundial en apoyo de su vigésimo álbum “Mi Tiempo” ha sido un gran éxito. Ejemplo de ello fue su presentación en la más reciente edición del Festival de la Canción de Viña del Mar, Chile, donde recibió la Gaviota de Plata, máximo galardón otorgado. “Mi Tiempo”, que ha acaparado los primeros lugares de ventas y popularidad, contiene los éxitos “Si Nos Quedara Poco Tiempo” y “Lola”. No cabe duda de que Chayanne pondrá a vibrar el escenario de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina con una espectacular presentación llena de sorpresas, mucha energía y el contagioso ritmo de sus movimientos. Chayanne es finalista a un Premio Billboard de la Música Latina en la categoría Tema Pop Airplay del Año, Masculino por “Si Nos Quedara Poco Tiempo”.
