Without doubt, the fourth member of the Three Kings this Christmas, is Chayanne. This young Samaritan travels around the world taking his music and hoisting our flag. When he presented in Puerto Rico for his stellar participation in the "Navidad Bajo las Estrellas" (Christmas under the stars) event, the performer of "Salome" told the reporters that he hadn't tasted a piece of sucking pig neither pies yet. What's Christmas for Chayanne? With a big smile, the famous artist expressed "It's a time that always carries you to the childhood, and it makes you be a child. It's also the reunion with the family".
The Puerto Rican star reflected that a day visit to his house is like a month one, cause the quality is more important that the quantity. His wife, Marilisa Maronesse, met him in this job and she had to get used to have him far. In an interview with the Newspaper País, Chayanne emphasized that even though his wife is a lawyer, she doesn't practise her profession now, to dedicate to their son and cause both of them decided it that way.
"I haven't stopped", our leader said, when we asked him how he described 1999 in his life. What affected him more the last 12 months was his success in Europe. But in his last visit to Puerto Rico (before his vacation) what touched him more, was when in Luis Muñoz Marin Airport, a young girl from Carolina, took her child so that he met him... and guess what... she named him Chayanne, cause that's her idol's name. Chayanne kissed, hugged and blessed him! That was a special moment for this young girl, that will remember it for the rest of her life and will be her best Christmas's picture. From
1999, Chayanne doesn't forget all the doors that were opened after his
successful participation in the movie "Dance with me", with
Vanessa Williams. As a result of having made this film, Chayanne is treated
like a celebrity in the different countries he visits.
Of
course that Chayanne's best smile goes out of his face when we mentioned
him little Lorenzo Valentino, for whom he fights for day after day and
second after second, to give him a strong childhood full of values.
