La Movida - The Shows At Luna Park DANCE, YOUVE GOT RHYTHM TO SPARE This chosen one from Puerto Rico added onto his Americas tour four sold out concerts at Luna Park in Buenos Aires and another at Boca Juniors. With sold out seats, the second show at Luna Park is described below. For those who could not see this talent move and deliver 100 minutes of his sweet voice or for those who want to relive this fabulous moment, we now retell what occurred. The first thing Chayanne did at his shows at Luna Park was to demonstrate the respect he has for his public and to give notice of his professionalism. With rigorous punctuality at 8:30 pm a grand explosion followed by euphoric screams announced the revival of the most important man of the evening and began the show. To the rhythm of Salome the four stable dance members came out on stage where the musicians and backup singers awaited. Dressed alike in black, Chayanne appeared singing and dancing to begin the show, while the public did not tire in following his movements on stage, the songs continued agitating and exciting the Luna Park to the hottest Latin rhythms. Then was the turn of the song Mira ven, ven where he and his redheaded dancer touched and caressed each other half dressed (she in velvet underwear, he in pants and open shirt) to the delight and envy of the public. Later was the classic "Volver a Nacer" (with shirt on) where the public sat down and enjoyed - in the dark- one of the more intimate moments of the concert. And the show continued with the welcoming greeting, the first words Chayanne spoke to his fans, "Hello Buenos Aires, I am very happy to be here with you". He stated this emotionally. He confessed prior to dancing Provocame that this concert serves as a wish come true. The shirt of the opening act was changed for a silver one and the show continued like a big party with fire works included. Women ( and some men) of all ages enjoyed each movement of the Puerto Rican artist when ten fast moving songs had gone by and it was time to give a bottle of water to a fan and give away his tie to another.. "Fuiste un trozo de hielo en la escharcha" was part of the medley of older romantic themes where he received flowers and gifts from his fans while he tried to give away quick caresses hand by hand. Another explosive moment arrived with "Guajira" with his open shirt and gave way to another special moment of the evening. The preamble to singing "Tiempo de Vals" was well applauded. Chayanne told that this hit is used by many in Latinoamerica at the time of the great entrance in a wedding or the celebration of a 15th birthday party and added that he would have loved to attend these parties.
